Lemon Soufflé


Smooth floral citrus of lemon zest, cornflower, and vanilla.

Allow yourself to be transported into sweet memories with this soothing rooibos tea. The invigorating scent of lemon is mellowed into balance with the sweeter notes of vanilla, cornflower, honeybush, and calendula petals for a treat to be enjoyed alone or with loved ones. While having a natural sweetness of its own, this herbal is always nicely enhanced by a little white sugar to make for an extra special indulgence!

Steeping Directions

Learn how to make “Lemon Soufflé” to enjoy at home!


 water at a simmer or a rolling boil (~180-212° F)

 1 tsp tea leaves per 6 oz. water (standard teacup)

 ~ 2 4 minutes: Drain tea strainer, serve, and enjoy!

 white sugar will complement, but this tea does not take milk

Tea Tip: To prevent rooibos dregs, use a tea strainer without loose mesh or large holes. We recommend tea sacks or tea socks.


 water at a rolling boil (~212° F)

 4 23 Tbsp tea leaves (2 qt. pitcher)

 ~ 2 4 minutes: Drain tea strainer

 white sugar to sweeten, stirred in while hot

 Chill and/or add ice cubes, serve, and enjoy!

Tea Tip: To avoid diluting your iced tea, make the ice cubes out of the tea you are preparing!


 water at a rolling boil (~212° F)

 1 12 even Tbsp tea leaves (32 oz. water / medium-sized teapot)
34 even Tbsp tea leaves (48 oz. water / large-sized teapot)

 ~ 1 minute: pause timer, drain tea strainer, return, continue steeping

 ~ 1 4 minutes: start tasting every 15 seconds, steeping to your preference

 ~ 2 4 minutes: recommended steep time for “Lemon Soufflé” Drain tea strainer, serve, and enjoy!

 white sugar will complement, but this tea does not take milk

Tea Tip: Taste by pouring only a quarter inch of tea into the cup.
