Three Secrets to Making Delicious Iced Tea
Want a perfect pitcher of iced tea like you’ve never had before? We’re here to share some of our secrets!
Three St. James Secrets to Making Delicious Iced Tea
1. Pick a Flavorful Tea
We recommend icing teas that are full of flavor and have pleasant aroma. Mild, gentle teas may sometimes lack flavor when iced.
2. Cool Before Refrigerating
Another secret to preserve your tea’s flavor and even its beautiful color is to let it cool completely before refrigerating.
3. Make Your Ice Cubes Out of the Tea You’re Icing!
To avoid watering down your iced tea with normal ice cubes, make your ice cubes of the tea itself! As you drink, and your ice melts, your tea will retain its same excellent flavor until the very last drop!
How to do it: Brew the tea for the ice cubes at least one night before. Let the tea cool and pour into ice cube trays. Put trays in freezer until ice cubes are frozen and ready to serve.
