How to Make Iced Tea

By SHOP - St. James Tearoom

One of the most consistent ways to make iced tea is to hot brew it and then chill it. This method is tried and true to getting you the best iced tea.

Here are 3 easy steps for making iced tea by hot brewing!

  1. Steep your tea in a teapot according to the steeping instructions on our packages and using the instructions on our How to Steep Tea page. Use the same measurements and steeping time that you would for making hot tea.
  2. Once steeped, let your tea cool on the counter. Keep the lid off the teapot for better air flow, but you can cover the opening with a paper towel to avoid dust from getting in.
  3. When your tea is completely cool, transfer to a pitcher and refrigerate until cold. Serve and enjoy!
